SEPTEMBER - THE FILM PROJECT
September is a long short, mashing HD and super 16mm, with music from Kaada, Crescent, Bass Clef and orgianal music by Tom Bugs and edited by 'Portishead' visual collaborator John Minton. Stars Nicholas Aaron (Band Of Brothers) + Tim Plester (Control)
Film-maker Esther May Campbell is now working with Lars Von Tries' company Zentropa (Dancer In The Dark) and producer Robyn Slovo (Morvern Caller) on feature work. She's adapting a book with Ben Slater (Helen) and is in development on short film and music projects.

SONGS FROM AND FOR 'SEPTEMBER'
The limited edition CD compilation features all the tracks included in the beautifully supersaturated and lyrical soundtrack plus new tracks that are felt to tie in with the film themes of loss, hope, movement and flux. Rare and hard to find tracks included.
Both the film soundtrack and compilation is compiled by Chiz Williams from the musical adventure outfit Qu Junktions. The comp assembles a collection of music's from the verdant English margins be it cinematic folk, crazed rural sing-songwriters or urban dubstep-not-dubstep, soundtracks for daydreaming from an American maverick (Sunburned Hand Of The Man's Paul LaBrecque) and exotic and spiritual songs created in Finland/Hungary/Norway by artists of some distinction.

The film-maker Esther May Campbell put together the book that accompanies the CD/DVD release. She says “ this is about the art of foraging. Wild and tasty food found in the month of September.
